Visit to ARACE of Mr Jean-Yves Le Drian, Défense Minister.
The day of August 17 was marked by the visit in the Radio Club of Arace Mr Jean-Yves Le Drian, Defense Minister accompanied by Mr Claude Renoult, Mayor of Saint-Malo, Mr Gilles Lurton member of Ille-et-Vilaine and many official accompanying.
Mr Le Drian listened attentively to the explanations given by Yannick Blandin F5CYM, president of Arace on the activity of radio transmitters during the Second World War, as well as the current activity of the club and amateur radio in general.
The exhibition on the radio during World War II, presented by Arace was intended to highlight the dedication of these young radio men and women who often gave their lives for. More than 1,000 visitors were recorded over the three days.

EXHIBITION EQUIPMENT MILITARY COMMUNICATIONS 39-45:
The association wants to share this exhibition with maximum visiteurs.Pour it in accordance with the City of ST MALO the exhibition will be open free to the public on August 17 and 15.16 from 10h to 12h and 14h to 19h. Guided tour and commentary, this exhibition is a first for the region outside of a museum.
